Dry Brushing for Health

Dry brushing is an easy way to support whole body detox. Dry brushing helps move lymph through the lymph system {the body’s trash removal system}, and helps remove toxins from the body. It helps increase circulation and exfoliate dead and dry skin. It’s super easy to do, and is a great pre-shower routine.

You’ll need a natural stiff-bristle brush with a long handle so it can reach your middle back easily. They can be found at almost any CVS or Target and also on Amazon. Starting at your ankles, make long brush strokes up towards your stomach area on both legs, for both the front and back of your legs. Then on your stomach area make circular strokes, and on your back the same {hence why the long handle}.

This can be done with or without essential oils.

Then start at your hands and make long strokes towards your chest, on both the front and back of your arms. Continue onto your face and neck on both front and back, down your chest and to your stomach area. Less pressure may be used on sensitive areas like your face and breasts.

This is a super easy and quick way to help your body detox every day before you shower. Many people see improvements in their skin when they begin doing this regularly.
