Easy peasy play-doh recipe you can make at home in less than 15 minutes!

I don’t know about you, but we have disappearing playdoh. There always seems to be less to put away every time the kids use it. I literally could spend a fortune on playdoh.

Solution: make my own for cheaper at home!

Here’s the recipe:

2 c. Flour

2 c. Colored water (use food coloring- gel works best)

1 c. Salt

1 Tbsp olive oil

1 tsp cream of tartar

6 drops of essential oil

Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat. Mix until all ingredients come together and turn into a paste like consistency that looks like playdoh. You will have to stir almost constantly near the end so it won’t burn.

Take it out of the pan and let it cool for 15 minutes or so. Add 6 drops of the essential oil of your choice. {I like to let the kids play with the purple lavender scented playdoh just before naptime 🙊😴💤}
